Creating Standards

Creating a New Standard
To create a new standard, go to the Standards page and click the "New Standard" button in the top right corner. You will be taken to the editor where you can fill in the details of your standard.
Every standard needs a title and content at minimum. We also recommend adding tags and assigning it to a space so your team can find it easily.
Editing an Existing Standard
To edit a standard, click on it from the Standards list and then click the "Edit" button. You can update the title, content, tags, and space. All changes are saved immediately when you click "Save."
If you need to remove a standard, click the "Archive" button. Archived standards are hidden from search results and AI tools but can be restored later if needed.
Formatting Your Content
The content editor supports rich text formatting including:
- Headings — Use headings to break up longer standards into sections.
- Code blocks — Add code snippets with syntax highlighting.
- Lists — Use bullet points or numbered lists for step-by-step instructions.
- Links — Link to other standards or external resources.
Best Practices
Keep your standards focused and actionable. A good standard answers the question "what should I do?" clearly. Include examples wherever possible, and keep each standard to a single topic so it is easy to reference.
