What is CodeContext?

CodeContext is a knowledge base for coding standards and API specs that integrates with AI tools via MCP. It helps teams keep their conventions in one place and ensures AI assistants follow the same rules.

Do I need to install anything?

No. CodeContext is a web application — you access it through your browser. The MCP integration works through your existing AI tools like Cursor, Claude, or VS Code.

Account Questions

Can I belong to multiple organizations?

Yes. You can be a member of multiple organizations with a single CodeContext account. Switch between them using the organization selector in the dashboard.

How do I delete my account?

Go to Settings > Account and click "Delete Account." This is permanent and cannot be undone. If you are the owner of an organization, you will need to transfer ownership first.

Technical Questions

Which AI tools are supported?

Any tool that supports the Model Context Protocol (MCP) can connect to CodeContext. This includes Cursor, Claude Desktop, Claude.ai, VS Code extensions, and more.

Is my data secure?

Yes. All data is encrypted in transit and at rest. We support MFA and SSO for account security. API keys are hashed and never stored in plain text.

Billing Questions

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. You can cancel your subscription at any time from the Billing page. You will keep your current plan's features until the end of the billing period.

Do you offer refunds?

We offer refunds within 14 days of your initial purchase. Contact our support team to request a refund.
