SSO (SAML)
Last updated 2026-03-10
What Is SSO?
Single sign-on (SSO) lets your team members log into CodeContext using your company's existing identity provider (like Okta, Azure AD, or Google Workspace). This means one less password to remember and centralized access control for your IT team.
SSO is available on our Team and Enterprise plans.
Supported Providers
CodeContext supports SAML 2.0 SSO with any compatible identity provider. Some popular providers include:
- Okta
- Azure Active Directory
- Google Workspace
- OneLogin
- JumpCloud
Configuring SAML
To set up SAML SSO for your organization:
- Go to Settings > Security > SSO in your dashboard.
- Click Configure SSO.
- Enter your identity provider's metadata URL or upload the metadata XML file.
- Copy the CodeContext ACS URL and Entity ID into your identity provider's SAML app configuration.
- Test the connection by clicking "Test SSO."
- Once verified, enable SSO for your organization.
Member Experience
Once SSO is enabled, team members can log in by clicking "Sign in with SSO" on the login page and entering their company email. They will be redirected to your identity provider to authenticate, then sent back to CodeContext automatically.
You can optionally enforce SSO, which means members must use SSO and cannot log in with a password. This is configured in the SSO settings.
