Create a CodeContext account

Sign up and create a space with your team's coding standards.

Copy your MCP credentials

Go to the Connect page and copy your MCP server URL and API key.

Open Windsurf MCP configuration

In Windsurf, open the Command Palette and search for "MCP" to access the MCP server configuration, or edit your mcp_config.json directly.

Add the CodeContext server

Add a new MCP server entry with the name "CodeContext", your server URL, and API key.

Verify the connection

Restart Windsurf and check that CodeContext appears as a connected MCP server. Ask Cascade to list your coding standards to confirm.
